Sad news. Cliff & Brenda were the first couple to befriend me & help me maneuver First Lutheran after moving to Papillion in 2006 from IL. It was a big move on my own with my job & they were the kindest, gentlest, honest friends anyone could have. Never saw either without a smile ever! When George came into my life, their approval & friendship meant everything. Loved to visit with him. Cliff will be missed by many & not forgotten. We have lost a good man on this earth. I'm sure he is rejoicing with Brenda & the Lord.

Cliff was a very intelligent, kind and sensitive guy, interested in others, with a smile and pleasant words to share. He cheered those of us he lived among, at Hillcrest Grand Lodge, in Papillion. Thanks, Cliff. You´re missed.

Cliff will be greatly missed by so many. He set a wonderful example of a Christian man and loving spouse to Brenda and father to his family. Boy was he proud of his family! He was all spit and polish. A handsome man with a beautiful family. He did innumerable good sharing his challenges on FB. Cliff I´m sure didn´t realize the degree to which he witnessed his love for Christ our Savior. It hurts to know he´ll be missing from his earthly congregation. But the Lord has gained one amazing wing man!!

My wife, Yvonne, and I were so saddened to read of the death of one of my most favorite congregation members, Cliff Mosteller. I remember meeting Cliff at my first elders' meeting at First Lutheran Church, Papillion, in 1987. He and his family were always so kind and loving to us and I appreciated his service to our country in the USAF. I recall his stories about commanding an E4B aircraft as a "bird Colonel" at Offutt AFB. And I was so blessed to minister to Brenda in the declining days of her health. I still recall Cliff saying to me, when I had conducted a funeral sermon for Col. Jim Stamm, that I "still had the fire in my belly" for preaching! Our Christian love and sympathy to all the family from both of us here in Michigan. God bless you all.
