I am late to receive this news, so my grief is fresh all these years later. I was a student of Dr. Hewan´s in the late 90s and he made a lasting impression upon me. He challenged his students to reach their full potential and his respect, once earned, was real. When my husband died a few years later, Dr. Hewan was there to offer support. He was a king among men. My condolences, Teresa Halcomb Miller
