I was in Portland at ESCO's National Sales meetings when we got word of Clint's passing. You cannot believe how much everyone there likes and respects Clint. He is considered one of the best plant managers anywhere in the world for ESCO and the one that we leaned on for ideas on how we could improve a manufacturing plant.

The sales force, those who have had the chance to know him like I have also had glowing things to say about him. Everyone of us whoever met him, likes and respects ...

I was acquainted with Clint only briefly last winter and spring, but in those weeks I came to know his heart and we were bound as brothers forever. He was a sweet giant, a a powerful man of light and integrity. Clint inspired me to find my own strength. He held me up.

Clint possessed the greatest attribute any of of can aspire to: he was a truly kind man.

How fortunate for those on the other side who now celebrate the reunion with their long absent friend. There is joy...

Penny and family,

My deepest heart-felt condolences go out to all of you at this very sad time.

I was shocked and sad to hear of Clint's passing. I am truly grateful to have felt a closeness to him. I know how much his family meant to him, and I know that you will miss his sweet and tender nature. May you feel comfort as you feel his watchful care and concern for you.
