Not sure what to say?

My grandpa was one of the greatest men I have ever met. I didn't really know him very well since I have always lived so far away but I still loved him very much. I always looked forward to seeing him when I could and going to my brother's baseball games with him. He always made things fun for me. There was something about him that everyone loved. Sometimes he could be a little harsh about things but it was always for the best. I love him very much and miss him lots. Since I didn't get to say...

Dear Erik, Joe and I just learned of your grandpa's death. We used to have so much at baseball games with your grandma and grandpa. Remember Matt and Chris? We would watch you guys play and we would sit in our lawn chairs. You were always the apple of both their eyes and I know Clyde has a special place in heaven. Joe and Sherry Hicks

Thank you so much everyone for your wonderful praise and reflection of the greatest man to ever walk this earth. He taught me everything I know. I love him so much and miss him very deeply. I will never forget about him. May we meet again someday in a better place. I LOVE YOU GRANDPA!

As I remember the love that I saw in his eyes,
My fathers love, a kind that never dies.
I remember his touch, brushing across my face
I long so much... for just one more embrace
He's far greater than any man that I know,
He's not just my Dad, he's my hero

I would like to thank everyone for their kind words and prayers. They are greatly appreciated. To my family... I hope this will let me write enough to share with you my experience during the funeral. At 4 pm...

You will see him again in a better place. It's just so sad to see him go just when you finally get to retire and was free to do all your traveling and...
