Not sure what to say?

Cody was the first friend I made at Glenville. And I never will forget how he included everyone. I didn’t really have any friends when I moved to Glenville but him and the guild use to host games and they invited everyone to play. Cody was always a joy to be around. And he was always willing to help anyone with anything. He was a really good guy! I could not believe it when I heard of his passing. My prayers go out to his family, his friends, his girlfriend, and their daughter! I wish I could...

Cody you were one of greatest men I ever knew. A true friend and brother to us all. You will be missed by all. You have made an impact on everyone you have crossed paths with. You will be sorely missed. Rest in peace Brother.

I met Cody at Glenville State and he was a fellow Scifi Guildie. He was always kind, and helped those in need. He passed doing what he loved and should be remembered a hero. His family should be proud of the man he was and I’m glad to of had the privilege to of known him. I pray they find comfort in these hard times. May God watch over his loved ones and give them comfort and care Sending love ❤

Remembering all of you in prayer.

I'm prepaying for the family sending love to all

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I didn’t know Cody personally but loved Alva very much. I’m Eloise and Worth Wards daughter. Frances Mullens Bever was my grandma. Prayers for the whole family. Love, Laura Ward Browning

Cody was such a great person. He was very friendly and kind to everyone he met. I enjoyed having him in my forestry classes at Glenville State. I was so happy that he graduated and went to work for the DOF. Working for DOF was a great fit for him. WV has lost a dedicated forester and wildland fire fighter. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Cody found his niche when he joined the WV Division of Forestry. He quickly became part of the "brotherhood". I remember him as a student at Glenville State College and his desire to join the DOF. He truly loved his job and like so many of us with the DOF was dedicated to the mission. May he rest in peace.

Our deepest sympathy for your loss, Cody was a good man. He was my son David roommates at school. We will miss him. We will plant a tree in his name on our farm. God bless
