Rev. Dr. Col Roy George Plummer

My deepest sympathy goes out to First Lady Kenyatta Plummer and the entire family. I had the privilege of serving as Chaplain Plummer's enlisted assistant briefly early in his career at Chapel 9 when we were with the 15th Engineer Battalion (Combat) at Fort Lewis, Washington. Our paths never crossed again, but even then, I knew he was destined for greatness. He will be missed by all who knew him. May God bless and be with you.

My parents informed me of Pastor Plummer's homegoing. Remembering Chaplain Plummer where our family attended the Ft. Lewis Gospel service at Chapel 9, while living in Tacoma, WA from 1974 until 1981.

Kenyatta Plummer it so hard to say good bye to someone who you love. But I can assure you in time it will get better might take a little while, but know this God is right there and with him sit Roy watching over you and the baby waiting until you come home to him. Keep your head high and every thought you will think about will be all the good thing you shared with Roy. Later you on you will remember all the funny thing yawl laugh about, then you will think of thing you told him not to do but...

My Condolences to Dr. Col. Roy Plummer whom my deceased husband Col. (R) Dennis J Harron thought the world of and his work habits. I always enjoyed his always big welcoming smile and words of encouragement.
