Not sure what to say?

She was born 8/14/1941, not 12/19/53. Her first hit record hit the charts on 9/26/1964 and she was sure older than 11 yo!!

Praying for Bishop Felton Smith and the family. Friend from Riverside High

My deepest sympathies.May the God of all comfort strengthen the entire family during this time of sorrow. Always remember that God keeps in his memory those whom we lose because they are precious in his eyes (Psalms 116:15)

Sis. Smith was a genuine lady with style and the epitome of class. She even fixed herself up for the grocery store. She loved my son as a child and would often entertain him. I will never forget the awesome fried chicken and comical nature of this lady. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Sister Connie Smith was a true virtuous woman of God. She was very kind and generous with a beautiful spirit of Christ. I met Connie in Chattanooga many years ago. She used to be a substitute teacher and served us well. When my mother died in 1994, she was my substitute teacher for an entire week. My thoughts and prayers go out to her husband Bishop Smith, her children, and grandchildren. In Christ,Sheree WheatChattanooga, Tennessee

May the God of all comfort sustain your family during the days ahead Psalms 119:76

Offering our deepest condolences during this time.
