My sweet sister in Christ, I can not believe a year in soon to pass, I think about you often and miss your roaring laughter and your zest for life. Connie, I see you are at rest next to my Sister, and your good, good friend, Jessie Mae Shampoo. My whole family is so pleased to see this. For you and Jessie to be together is so wonderful and we're grateful to your family for making the arrangements. Connie was such an enjoyable person to work with. I loved her great sense of humor, and her laughter was the best. My prayers and thoughts have been with her dear children, Michael and Jillian and her husband, Jim along with her other loved ones. The glamorous picture chosen for her obituary is perfect, and I remember when I first met her at work how she and several other ladies made an evening of going to the photo studio to have their pictures made! This picture may be from back then, I'm not certain. Connie and I were born the same year just a few weeks apart and it broke my heart to learn how sick she had been.

Dear Jim, Michael, Jillian and all of the family,
Connie was always one of the easiest people to be with. She was warm and welcoming and had a magnetism that naturally drew people to her. You could not help but be left with pleasant memories any time you were with Connie. I will forever remember and cherish my times with her.

We hadn't seen Connie in a couple of years but recently heard of her illness. We are very sad to hear of Connie's passing. We remember her as one of the kindest people who welcomed us into the "Moose" group. We had so many good times with her and Jim and the kids. Our thoughts and prayers are for her and her family.

I'll never forget our daily lunches of crocheting, scrapbooking, homework, weight watchers, painting our nails, stories about buddy (the dog), and Christmas's. We had a good time all of us, let's see there was Nancy, Ame, Suzanne, Connie and myself. I will miss her. RIP
