I, too, live in Mt. Vernon and was born in Fond du Lac. I'm a retired teacher, having taught 33 years in the Mt. Vernon school district. Twenty-nine years ago we had a student who had TB in my school and all of the school nurses had to check everybody in the school. Corinne, as Head Nurse, was calling the teachers to be checked.
