Not sure what to say?

Jules and Family,
Its been a long time since i have spoke to you,so i googled your name and this is what i find. My heart sunk, my eyes filled with tears, but my memories of Kees gave me a smile from ear to ear.I remember saying to him, 'chase your dreams, life is to short to be unhappy'. Well he did, and i hope you and your family continue to chase your dreams. My deapest heart felt sympathy to you all. i wish you all a long life.Love comes from far away places, even down under!

Dear Susie,
Am just so shocked and sad to be the last probably to enter here. We loved your son for his free spirit and his smile. He was wonderful. I will never forget him coming to our house at Mishaum to see Tracy as early as 7 am in the morning. We loved him and we send you so so much love and sympathy at this tragic turn of life and loss.
Affectionately,
Rosalie Hornblower (was Catlin) now Sawyer

I met Kees at a dance when we were in boarding school back in 1996. I went to Stoneleigh-Burnham, an all girls school near his school. We dated for about a month that winter and only saw each other at a couple of dances and talked on the phone a lot. I remember he loved the Beastie Boys! He was the first boyfriend I ever had and he gave me my first kiss. He'll always hold a special place in my heart because of that. What a great memory. Rest in piece Kees. I wish I could've gotten to know you...

Dear Brenninkmeyer Family,
I was lucky enough to spend a good deal of time with Kees. We met at the University of Denver, and he lived with me in Whistler at the Smythe's house for a couple of months two winters ago.
Kees' spirit and his love of the outdoors continues to be a huge inspiration to me.
I have many great, funny, and memorable moments that I'll never forget with Kees.
My sincerest condolences go out to you.

To the Brenninkmeyer Family,

On behalf of all the Guides at Valdez Heli-Camps we would like to express our sympathy for your loss. Kees will be deeply missed by all of us, he was a genuine asset to our Guide Staff and an amazing soul always full of life no matter what the circumstances. His time here will never be forgotten by any of us. He will be missed.

Dear Suzy & Hans,

It was not long after our son Paul was born that Kees was born. I remember vividly the joy that was so evident in your lives upon his arrival! It seems that our sons share a similar adventuresome spirit. While Paul backpacked for a year around the entire southern hemisphere, we had a lesson in letting go. Now you are being required to live that lesson on the deepest level. I cannot imagine how that would be after experiencing such deep love through sharing life...

This poem came from the catacombs of St. Paul--from the ashes of the Baker's Fire came such glory to God and amidst such aerial bombardments, the structure and beauty endured--just as Kees' spirit will endure for those of us blessed to have been touched by his smile, his heart and his energy.

If I should die and leave you here awhile be not like others sore,
who keep long vigils by the silent dust and weep.

For my sake turn again to life and smile, and nerving thy heart...

To The Parents of "Kees" Brenninkemeyer:

We have never met, my dear Aunt, Nora Ryan, is on the same obituary page as your dear son. His smiling face and beautiful eyes brought tears to my eyes. Your son, was not meant for this world, he's too beautiful. He's up there in Heaven with my 97 year old aunt and safe in the arms of Jesus.

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.

Sinccerely,

Mary T. Lynch
