Gayle,

Your are in our Prayers. I am so happy I was able to sit and talk with Craig last November he had not changed in the 40+ years that I have known him. I was one of 4 girls on 30th street with all the boys (my brothers). I will hold the memories of Craig and Brian forever.

Ms Gayle I met your brother at The Giles. He was very quiet and occupied by watching a football game probably the Pittsburgh Steelers, on his phone. He had a good spirit about him. And I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet him.

However, I can relate to the loss of siblings. I am the last of 4 girls. But God, he continues to strengthen and keep me in His loving arms. I know that He will do the same for you is my prayer.

Dear Barr family, Craig deeply impressed me the moment he came to my firm's table at a Legal job fair in Pittsburgh about 25 years ago. The 15 minute interview turned into at least an hour's discussion of the challenges of being an African-American legal professional and life in general and we became friends that day. It was an honor to be his colleague at the firm and part of a group of young professionals who "ran" the Pittsburgh nightlife in the mid-90's. Our paths diverged over the years but we kept in touch. Craig always had a hearty laugh in the good times and a kind word in the bad. I will cherish the memories of him and hope that your memories and the outpouring of good words from his friends sustains you through this hard time.
