CRAIG BIENZ Obituary

CRAIG E. BIENZ, 63, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at Parkview Hospital. He was born on Dec. 20, 1946, in Fort Wayne. He was a retired C.P.A. "He was a loving father, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him." He is survived by daughters, Jenna A. (Tui) Bienz-McIntire, Kathryn A. (Daniel) Ekanam and Amy Marie Bienz, all of Fort Wayne; grandson, Nicholas Patrick Bienz-Combs; sisters, Cathy A. (Thomas) Gallmeyer and Rebecca S. Knepp, both of Fort Wayne; friend, Kelli Bell of Fort Wayne; and former wife, Leslie Bienz of Charleston S.C. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald C. Bienz; mother and stepfather, June A. and William A. Fitzgerald; and former wife, Patricia Miller. A celebration of life beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at Covington Bar & Grill, 6330 West Jefferson Blvd. Private burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements by Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home. Preferred memorials to Parkview Home Health & Hospice.

I will always remember his smile and intellect. Most of all, I remember his love for his daughter, Jenna. We shared some wonderful times in our lives. We were blessed to have known such a loving person.
