Craig D. Roberts, 69, of Bangor (formerly of Nazareth), passed away peacefully after a short illness while surrounded by his loving family and friends on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Northampton Post Acute - Easton. He was the beloved husband of Jean Roberts (Silfies) to whom he was married to for 48 years. Born in Bethlehem, Craig was a son of the late Clyde and Lillie Roberts (Herd). Craig was a 1973 graduate of Northampton Area High School.
Craig worked in electrical sales for Comroe Advanced Power - Northampton, All-Phase Electric - Bethlehem, and Square D Electric - Allentown. Outside of work, Craig was a passionate photographer and an avid Eagles fan. He also enjoyed volunteering at Musikfest. However, it was the time spent with his cherished children and grandchildren that truly brought him the most happiness and fulfillment. Craig was a member of the St. Johns UCC - Nazareth.
In addition to his wife, he will be lovingly remembered by his children: Jamie Broad (Jonathan) of Nazareth, Carrie Kopec (Craig) of Downingtown and Chad Roberts (Stephanie) of Kihei, HI; grandchildren: Hayley, Cordyn, Natalie, Alyssa, and Camryn; his favorite canine companion: Penny; siblings: Linda Hiester (Dwight) of Marysville, WA, Keith Roberts (Rose) of Point Phillips, and Judith Roberts of Stroudsburg.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC - 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to a visitation on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM & Tuesday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
