I send light, love, joy, and peace to the Horton family. Curtis was so loving and caring toward our grandsons, Matthew, Aiden, and Chase. They loved him so much. He left with them wonderful memories that they can always reflect on. Though his physical presence is no longer with us, his spiritual presence will be with us forever and we are thankful for that. I've lost a true and dear friend, a man I considered a brother! A man of simple means who did things his way. Although he could appear mean and irony at times, it was to protect his warm interior. Marvette and I cherished our relationship so much, we had even spoken about him moving to Charlotte with us. He had his room all picked out.
