Not sure what to say?

Theresa, Phillip Whitney gave me this note in sunday school one morning after mom passed away. God is with us in our dark times. God has a purpose for allowing us to go through these dark times. Even in dark times we are walking toward light. The darkness will last as long necessary for god to accomplish his purpose. We learn move in the dark then in the light. What we learn in the darkness we are to share in the light. You know we love you and curtis will always be in our heart. Cathy & Greg....

Theresa, words escaped me yesterday when we met. I'm so sorry about your husband. I know he will be missed very much, but I also know he was so proud in heaven to see his grandaughter get baptized yesterday. May God bless you and bring you some peace.
Love, Kathy

We are saddened at the sudden loss of Curtis. He visited the gallery recently and we are thankful that we were both here to greet him. We very much enjoyed his visit. He was a wonderful person and we are so thankful that he had experienced the joy of grandchildren. He will be missed.

Shannon and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I know this is a very difficult time for all of you and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

All my love,
Sarah

Donna and I want to express our deepest sympathy to you in the death of Curtis. Both of us knew Curtis in school and the brightness he brought to our friendship. Our prayers are with you and the entire family. We will miss Curtis but his presence will always be with us. Ray (Al) and Donna (Wagner) Smith.

Just as everyone else has said, it was such a shock to read of Curtis' passing. I still see him as that cute boy with the blonde hair and big smile. The death of a classmate and friend brings to us the reality that life on this earth is so short-that every minute with a loved one is one to be cherished. Know that your family is in all our thoughts and prayers. Karen "Tysinger" Holder,
NDSH Class of "71

Our thoughts and prayers go out to each one of you. One of the things I remember most about Curtis was his wonderful personality and kindness all during our school years especially at Midway. God bless and comfort you all.

I was so sorry to learn of Curtis' death. I have fond memories of our high school years together. My thought and prayers are with you in this difficult time. "Casting all your care upon Him; for He cares for you." I Peter 5:7

Curtis was a great "pop" to the grandchildren. Allana talked of him often when she was in my class.
His friendly smile will be missed here on earth but will be Heaven's gain!
