I miss your smile ,your energy and your great desire to use music to touch everyone you knew. God Bless you, my friend. Cecil " Sweet C" Treadway

I was very sad to learn today of Curtis' passing. I was a radio DJ with Curtis when he first began coming to UCR. Teddy Bear. Sweet C. The Wizard. Mighty Mac. We had some great times back in the day. Curtis was a musical genius ... but, more importantly, he loved people. He could bring a smile to anyone's face. I haven't talked with Curtis for over 20 years. I didn't realize until today how much I missed 'Teddy Bear'. My prayers are with Curtis' family and...

Curtis will be missed. He was a friend to me when my mother got sick. I am so sad.

As I long for days gone by, I mourn the many losses we have endured with the passing of time. As I found out, Teddy Bear new my sister Lisa Williams (King) very well. ...
