Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home - Evendale/Blue Ash Obituary

Cynthia Lou Roth (nee Ganis), of Blue Ash, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2021 at the age of 66 after a brief illness. Cindy was a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. She and her husband, Richard, just celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. Mother to Richard II, Ryan (Michelle), and Carly (Kevin) Ghantous. Grandmother to Bridgette, Remington and Kimberley Roth, Oliver, Charlotte, Simon and Wyatt Ghantous, and baby Roth due in December.

Cindy was born on December 20, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Robert and Judith (nee Riggs) Ganis. Her family moved quite a bit, but finally settled in Pembroke Pines, Florida where she met Rick during a Spring Break trip. She moved to Cincinnati in 1973 to be with him. In Cincinnati, she worked for many years in Quality Control at TEAM Industrial Services where she retired from in 2018. She enjoyed her work and the global travel that was required of her position.

Cindy loved bringing people together and had a passion for organizing social gatherings. At these events, she could often be found singing her favorite songs with a microphone in one hand and a glass of wine in the other. Every Sunday, she would host dinners and cook delicious meals to share with friends and family. She organized many family reunions to bring together her love of celebration, genealogy, and family history. She was also active in the Reading Historical Society and co-authored a book with her husband on the Reading Doughboy World War I Veterans.

Cindy was very creative and had a special talent with crochet. She would spend hours a day working on complex and beautiful gifts for her friends and family. These artful creations will be treasured. Cindy will be deeply missed!

Not sure what to say?

i am one of her grandchildren and i have loved her ever since i was little .she has been so nice to me so her death was very sad.

My beautiful sister! Words can not express the love for you. To soon to be gone from us! I will miss our conversations. You were a fantastic person and a beautiful soul! My heart goes out to Rick, Ricky, Ryan and Carly. Michelle, Kevin and all the grand kids! A blessing to have had you as a sister and a friend! My heart aches! Love to you and all the family!

Rick, Ricky, Ryan, Carly and all of her family,
I cannot begin to express my heartache for your loss (and mine). Our friendship has blossomed in the last several years primarily because she invested herself in its growth; a compete example of Cindy's loving and caring nature. Three-hour lunches were the norm, without a minute wasted! Never a greeting without a hug or a leaving without another hug and “I love you”. Know that you do not grieve alone and I will speak of her often,...

Words cannot express the emotions that I feel for the family with the passing of Cindy. My thoughts and prayers will be with y’all. I will always remember Cindy for the excellent person she was.

A beautiful friend taken too early. I am so grateful that she was surrounded by her loving family to celebrate her 45th wedding anniversary and 4th of July. We had crazy fun in our teens and early 20's. See you on the other side Cindy.
