Not sure what to say?

Bobby and I just found out about your loss today, April 2011.
Valerie and the girls, we are so sorry to hear about this.
We would like to extend our appreciation for his life and your love for him.
God's blessings for you and yours,
Bobby and Leslie Woods
Bloomfield

Recently heard that Peter had passed away, please accept our sincere condolences on your loss. You are all in our thoughts. We only met you a few times , but I had known Peter since my teens. He was a kind and gentle man.

We know so well that there is little to be said at a time like this to lessen the terrible loss you feel. However, we want you to know that you will certainly be in our thoughts and prayers in the days, and weeks ahead. God bless you all.

Sincerely,

Ed & Pam Hesterlee

Valerie, we just learned of Peter's passing. It's obviously difficult for words alone to provide comfort but we try. When we think of Peter, the word gentleman always comes to mind. Unfortunately, we hear that word used so sparingly these days, especially as a true compliment in describing a man. It is as if being a gentleman is no longer to be aspired to. How absolutely sad. The world is in dire need of true gentleman and unfortunately with Peter's passing we all lost one of the genuine...

Dear Valerie, I so admired Peter, who in so many ways served as my mentor as well as good friend. Rest assured that he is today and shall remain forever in my thoughts and prayers.

Valerie,
I hope you find comfort remembering the fun and joy that Peter brought to those around him. I loved working for Peter. He was a consummate gentlemen and always unfailing gracious no matter the circumstance. I will keep you and the family close in my thoughts.

Peter was one of the first people I worked with when I started at HELCo 41 years ago. Although he had only been here a year he had already made his mark and a wonderful reputation. It's been many years since I've seen him but I think of him often. God bless all of you in this time of sorrow. Celebrate him.

Valerie,
My condolences to you and your family. As you know, my father and Peter worked together for many years and shared many good times on and off the golf course. They are probably teeing it up now.
