DAISY DAWNE WILHELM, 83, of San Juan Capistrano, California passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, California. Dawne was born Sunday, January 24, 1932 in Los Angeles, California and was the daughter of the late Willard and Dorothy "Beville" Schneider. She was married to the love of her life, Louis R. Wilhelm of Hemet for 64 wonderful years. Dawne was an amazing business woman, artistic, an adventurer, singer, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was responsible for keeping the records for the family business for over 60 years. She never retired, instead she became an expert in investments using the volatility of the stock market to her advantage. Dawne was involved, along with her family in the Ramona Play for many years helping with costumes and many other working parts to make the play successful every year. As a young woman she was part of the American Saddlers Drill Team, a Jobe's Daughter, a Ham Radio Operator and for a time was a deep sea diver and participated on many dives with the famous diver Mel Fisher. Dawne was a Cadet Girl Scout leader for 14 years and while her family described her as a brilliant business woman, Dawne remained a kid at heart. She adored amusement parks, musical plays, and Disney movies. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her passion later in life and she relished every holiday for the opportunity to spend time with them. Her family describe her as an attentive listener, very sweet, tender and kind. Those who knew her and loved her will sorely miss her. Surviving is her husband Louis Wilhelm; son, Wayne Wilhelm and wife Cynthia; daughter, Tami Wilhelm; grandchildren Shannen Burton, Megan Torres, Damian Burton and Sharmel Butler; and great grandchildren Logan, Maddy, Parker, Miley, Jessie, Jeffery, Adrianna.
