Neil, Donna, and Family, My sincere sympathy to all of you on Dale's passing. I remember many things that involved Dale that influenced my life. One was when I "auditioned" for QB after my Freshman year. My brother was the Fullback and I was following in his footsteps but I knew I wouldn't beat him out so I thought I could play QB. Mr. Ridenour and Coach Rice had me come to your house and take snaps and make some moves away from center to see if I could handle it. I guess I passed and...

My deepest sympathy to my classmate and teammate Neil and his sister Donna, and to Mr. Ridenour's grandchildren.

Deepest sympathy to Donna and Neil we lived next door for many years. He was one in a million, he was so special to my 3 children. He was very close to my son Todd who he taught to call milk "cat beer".

My deepest sympathy to the Ridenour family. Mr. Ridenour was a wonderful example that other teachers and administrators can pattern their careers. I knew he and Bertha as Mr and Mrs. Ridenour. Mrs. Ridenour was my grade school music teacher and I did secretarial work for Mr. Ridenour when he was Athletic Director at Lemon-Monroe and I was a high school student. They both were exemplary examples for their students.
They will be remembered by many.

I only got to know Dale later in his career as he worked with us at Kings Junior High. He left a great lasting impression on me and my son (and his friends). A great man and a life well lived!
