Its been eight years ago and I am very grateful for the reminder note concerning Dale's passing as it made me remember a man I feel a strong sense of friendship and respect for. I was elected president of the bus drivers association and immediately requested Dale's appointment to a committee originally formed by the school administration to suggest their ideas to the bus drivers association but with Dale and other drivers we flipped the purpose of the committee to carry drivers ideas to the...

Dear Susanne, Jackie and other members of the Snelling family. We have lost a dear friend and "team mate" in Dale's passing. I met him @ Purdue when he took me and Joe Stepanek to mass @ St. Thomas in his model T Ford. He and I played our last game as "Boiler" oldtimers at the tender age of 42. Jackie and my CC became friends while freshman @ Purdue. He was the BEST and that beautiful smile just got bigger and bigger as time went on. RiP old friend billyj
