Not sure what to say?

I had Dan in a class in grade school when they combined 1st graders (me) and 2nd graders (Dan) in one class at Linden East. For some reason, he spoke that entire year in a British accent, and for years after I thought Dan was from overseas. Lol. He was a nice kid even back then. :)

Dan was a true statesman and a great communicator, a diplomat in everyway. As a community builder, he will be missed both in Kansas City and in his family where community always begins. I was truly sad to hear the news. He touched many lives and will continue to touch us through our fond memories. My warmest thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dan was a great guy, always easy to talk to and eager to help. It is a great tragedy to his family and community that he is gone.

Leslie, words cannot express my entire family's sympathy over the loss of Dan. He was such a fun-loving, energetic guy who always made the day seem brighter. I've known Dan for many years and worked with him for several and he always threw himself into his endeavors as though each was Number One on his priority list. I will truly miss him.

Dan was the type of person when he asked, "How have you been?" or "How are you doing?", he truely wanted to know. He'll be sincerely missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family.

Dan. I am so sorry for your leaving us. However to a better place. The times we worked together were wonderful and memories are from God that no one can take away. I know how much you loved your wife and children. You are a great loss for all who ever knew you. May you rest in peace.

Very sincerely.
