Not sure what to say?

I remember Dan very fondly from our 18 months or so of public access TV in Boulder called Videoactive, 1990-91. Dan & I collaborated on many products weekly & did a movie critique show together. He was really cool and although 10 years older he seemed younger. I really liked his wit and easy presence. He made us all feel comfortable with his experience and expertise as a creative producer and yes, a leader. Dan led more by example than preaching but had a charm and way with words that...

He will be missed. So many Friday night online chats with Dan and his friends from all over the U.S. He was a treasure.

Such good memories of Dan. Xx

To his children and grandchildren I send my condolences. Until Dan became ill, he had interests in so many topics. I knew him from the Boulder Heretics founded in 1993 which he ran for a a few decades, we had lively debates and of course we would always discuss politics, religion and movies. He was very clear thinking until his death, just the way he would have wanted.

Was a member of his group on Delphi for many years and chatted with him via posting in his group. So sorry to just hear about his passing. He was a delight to read.

My sincere condolences to Dan's family. Although we've never met in person, I've 'known' Dan for a number of years as a fellow forum host and regular contributor on Delphiforums message boards. Dan was a great writer & hosted a number of forums on topics ranging from tv & entertainment, politics, religion, creative writing & a even Baby Boomers forum. His wit, humor, knowledge and insight informed, delighted, entertained and inspired us all. RIP Dan. You will be missed.

Dan Culbertson and I worked on quite a number of theatre productions in the Boulder scene in the late 1970’s. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and his movie reviews. I ran into Dan at the post office last year
and we laughed and chatted and joked about days gone by. He hadn’t changed.
Thanks for the memories Dan.

Dan would come in to KGNU Radio every Thursday afternoon to record his "Hotshots" Show and we would chat- about what movie he was reviewing- about what movie I was planning on seeing that weekend- and our personal lives. He really loved his grandchildren!! As his health deteriated he would come in less often, and then he had to give it up totally. One time at my birthday party, he brought we one of those life size plastic heads- he WAS into theater. Anyhow I keep it on the top of my...

Dan, I miss our talks about things political and societal. Thank you for sharing your last few weeks with me via phone calls. And, thanks for the years of little jokes between us. My one question to you is, "Is it heavenly enough for you?"
