He was a great man for his Union at work. He attended meetings and spoke up for all of us at every opportunity. He was also a great guy to work with who would always greet you with a smile. This is a sad and tragic loss to our community, small and large. I did not know him outside of our work together at Santa Cruz Metro, but I recognized him as a great guy even in the most difficult circumstances. RIP Dan, you most definitely will be missed. My condolences to his family and loved ones.
