Not sure what to say?

I was blessed to have met Dan during my coaching days at SFCC. He was a beloved member of what can only be described as a journalistic all-star team...during an era when sport reporters and columnists shared a true passion for local sports, athletes, coaches, and kids in the greater Spokane area. I think Chris Peck described it perfectly as the "golden age of journalism in Spokane". Regardless of the level of competition, Dan always seemed to find the stories that needed to be told. ...

Well written Sir...thank you.

Smooth sailing, old friend.

I met Dan in Port Angeles while he was a sports reporter and I was a marginal member of the high school football and baseball team. He took an interest in me for some reason and was always extremely friendly and interested in me. Dan wrote an article on me right in the middle of my boxing career. We struck up a friendship during the weigh in for my bout at the Cda House of Fury. Needless to say he had a "Dude like" quality about him. I will remember him as a fun, talented and thoughtful guy. RIP MY FRIEND

Have a great life in your next venture Dan. I remember him as a great basketball player and his humor was first class. Many people going to miss him

I´ve known Dan since the first grade. Truly a great man and genuine friend. We would spend years between visits and, when we crossed paths, we would pick right back up like we were in high school again. Speaking of high school, we were chemistry lab partners and somehow managed to impress Mr. Korsak with our great experiments.

Kindness neighbor, always gave us a box of chocolates and christmas card.
