A few years ago we traveled to Rehoboth Beach, with Dane's parents, to meet him before Dane had to return for his shift at Funland. He suggested a restaurant off the boardwalk that was a poplar eatery. We sat, talked & did some catching up. Special time, great food & the best fish tacos ever! Later we stopped in at his living quarters where his Mom had a large care package so Dane & his roommates wouldn't go hungry...wonderful day!

Dane had a passion to learn of other cultures, evidenced by this photo with the majority of the international Funlanders
As a Harrisburg native, and a Funlander from 2011, I am deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Dane was a lively spirit, and his passion to learn of other cultures was so evident. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. Being a mom, I simply cannot imagine the pain you and your family must be going through. My son Robert roomed with Dane for several years, while attending Temple University. He will be missed by Robert very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
