I sang in the Laurel Oratorio Society with Dani for several years we were the tall altos. She was a wonderful singer, an inspiration, and a leader of that organization. My most recent memory of her is a random encounter in 2008, when my husband and I were in Tucson as the first stop on a trip to Mexico. We were visiting an artist's homestead, and as I walked into the kitchen someone tapped me on the back and said, "Do you know me?" I turned around, and there, to my total amazement, was Dani!...
