Yup. Still miss him. My memory of him comes to life whenever we have a nice, sunny, warm-ish, afternoon..... I can still see him sitting out there on their deck sitting in the warm sun. Many times I would break up his peaceful sun-time and invite myself over and we'd just sit and talk for a little bit about whatever unimportant stuff we could come up with- (he had the best laugh!). We moved in across the way from Dan & Carol in 1997, and always considered him my friend. He loved to sit out on his back porch on many a sunshine-y afternoon, just enjoying the day. When we'd see him out, many times I'd walk over, sit down in the chair next to him, and we'd visit for a bit. It was always fun.
