Not sure what to say?

Dear Blick Family,
MY SYMPATHY AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO YOU. MAY GOD BLESS YOU DURING THIS TIME OF GREAT SADNESS.
Dan was a wonderful friend. We had more than a few conversations about, well, just about everything. You will be missed Dan.

Dan was the master of the snide remark, although it was never intended to injure the other, instead just to remind you that attention was being paid to your thoughts and actions. Golf games with Dan especially guaranteed plenty of ribbing. He always amazed me with how well he played--possibly because he never seemed to take the game too seriously.
Rest comfortably now in the arms of your Creator, Dan. And, if possible, straighten out my slice when you see it heading out of bounds.

My most sincere condolences to the entire Blick family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

We lost an old friend Sunday morning. Dan Blick passed away, succumbing to cancer. Dan was the first free lance graphic designer I ever met. He was doing work for Boothe Advertising when I signed on there as a paste-up artist, and soon, way too soon, to become the Art Director. I'm still thankful for having Dan back then to help me along the way. Unlike the young people I see today, I really didn't know everything and Dan never hesitated to share with me his knowledge and his time. He made it...

I've known Dan for many years through the Printing/Graphics industry. Boy - could this man start a conversation with anybody and keep it going AND keep it interesting! I spent many hours in his office through the years listening to his stories. Like me, he had a strong opinion on everything! Blessings and Peace to his family and friends.

Rest Daniel, until you hear at dawn,
the low, clear reveille of God.

Thank you for your service to this nation.

I worked with Dan almost every day for eight years. Can't help but to deeply know a person after all that time. He was a good conversationalist. His favorite subjects were his family, especially his kids and grandchildren, then his church, golf, good food and good cooking. He could talk to anybody and hold his ear. He'll be missed.
