Not sure what to say?

Dan and Martha rented a house from us following Hurricane Michael near Bainbridge. He was a man of integrity and honesty and I enjoyed getting to know him. After seven winters spent in our mild climate, I was sorry to say goodbye. Good memories of brief conversations.

One of my oldest brother’s best friends. Most evenings my brother John and Jake Miller would be in the Bowser garage working on something with Dan. I liked to listen to their stories. I
bought my first bike from Dan around 1958 for $7.00; Dan liked to repurpose things.

Always enjoyed talking to Dan about our childhood and growing up in Summerville.

Dan and I played together when we were very young. He and I fought many Indian battles in his back yard. We drifted apart after my army time. He will be sadly missed.

One great individual that I will always remember to watch dan smile and laugh just made a person forget about there issues. You could not like dan I will miss him greatly. There will be a tree planted name dan!!

Dan was such a bright light and gentle soul. I always listened intently when he had comments about what our book club read. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a joyful outlook on life, and his light will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his dear Martha.

To a good friend, you will be missed!

Dan had a great sense of humor and I know he loved to read. I am sorry for his passing .
