Not sure what to say?

Dear Byers Family ...

I've been out of town and just learned of Danny's passing. My deepest condolences to you all. Although Danny and I weren't close in later years, we were very good friends through elementary school and I remember him fondly. He had a kind heart and caring spirit that was exemplified through his interaction with others. May your many precious memories of times together sustain you in this time of grief.

In sympathy ...

I truly thought a lot of Danny, and was hit hard to hear of this. I know he is still happy, but know it hurts us left behind. Danny was a great friend of mine and will be missed greatly.

I was saddened to hear of Danny's passing. I know that he suffered over many things for a long time. He was certainly more than a boss to me; he was there with me through rough spots, even when he was dealing with the loss of "Charlie". My prayers are with all of the family.
