Dear Byers Family ...
I've been out of town and just learned of Danny's passing. My deepest condolences to you all. Although Danny and I weren't close in later years, we were very good friends through elementary school and I remember him fondly. He had a kind heart and caring spirit that was exemplified through his interaction with others. May your many precious memories of times together sustain you in this time of grief.
In sympathy ...

I truly thought a lot of Danny, and was hit hard to hear of this. I know he is still happy, but know it hurts us left behind. Danny was a great friend of mine and will be missed greatly.

I was saddened to hear of Danny's passing. I know that he suffered over many things for a long time. He was certainly more than a boss to me; he was there with me through rough spots, even when he was dealing with the loss of "Charlie". My prayers are with all of the family.

My deepest sympathies to the Byers family. Danny was a good friend in our many happy times during High School, Ferrum College and while working together at Commonwealth Components. He was always there with a smile and enjoyed being around friends. I can still remember the day that Danny cut his thumb off in shop class. He will be sorely missed. Take care all.

To the Byers Family,
I am so sorry for your lost. I know that this a difficult time but remember that Danny is not in pain anymore. We all grew up together and it is hard to believe that Danny is gone. We had one of the best youth groups around and Danny was a big part of making everyday fun. If there is anything that we all can do, please do not hesitate to call Mom, Dad or me.
Love,
Linda Sims Donohue

I always thought highly of Danny. He hired me in 1999 for an Engineering position in the Timber Truss office in Charlottesville, but was more than a Boss. Although we had lost touch, I considered him a good friend. My prayers are with his family and close freinds. I know he will be in a better place without the pain he experienced in this earthly world.
