Dan was a good friend of mine. He was kind, caring and polite. If you were having a bad day, you could be sure that Dan would make you laugh with one of his corny jokes. Dan was the kind of friend you could always count on. He accompanied me to our high school Sadie Hawkins dance, 2 years in a row; just because I didn't have a date. Dan was very intelligent.
