DANIEL CARLIN Obituary

Daniel Patrick Carlin, age 39, passed away September 27, 2015. He attended Computech Middle School, graduated from Bullard High School in 1994, and received his Bachelor's degree in history from California State University Fresno. He died in an accident while riding across Vietnam on his motorcycle. He had a huge heart and a thirst for adventure, and died while doing what he loved, traveling the world and pursuing his life's passions. He was a beloved son, brother, cousin, uncle and friend. He is survived by his parents, Patrick and Gloria Carlin; brother, Kevin Carlin; sisters, Jeannine Martin and husband Ian, and Molly Parker and husband Zacary; niece, Madeleine Martin; nephew, Orion Parker; many cousins; aunts; uncles; along with many friends around the world. A Celebration of his Life will be held at Valley Christian Center, 4649 E Shields Ave, Fresno, CA 93726, on Monday, October 26, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception on location. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation "In Memory of" to SOS Vietnam, which he became interested in the past few months; or Floating Doctors, which he had plans to volunteer for in the future. He was an awesome friend who I considered one of our own!!! Dan the man the one we love and hold dear to our hearts always!!! We miss you and love you always!! Dan was a good friend of mine. He was kind, caring and polite. If you were having a bad day, you could be sure that Dan would make you laugh with one of his corny jokes. Dan was the kind of friend you could always count on. He accompanied me to our high school Sadie Hawkins dance, 2 years in a row; just because I didn't have a date. Dan was very intelligent. School seemed to come so easy for him. As did, making friends. Teachers adored him, as well. Dan is often on my mind and his memory stays in my heart.

I am so sorry for the loss of Daniel. I knew him in Middle School and High School. He was a very kind person. I'm sad to have lost track of him after high school. Sounds like he enjoyed the heck out of his life though. My condolences to the entire Carlin family.
