Not sure what to say?

I feel so lucky to have had you as a colleague at Westmont. You were always such a joy to be around-fun, kind, and full of energy. I really loved sharing classrooms with you and swapping stories and notes. You had such a special way of connecting with both students and teachers, and you truly inspired so many of us. We miss you more than words can say.

Dan is in my home, his ocean eyes and upward-bending smile held in place by a magnet on the refrigerator. Our laws of physics do not hold Dan anymore. I miss you friend.

Dan was a beloved friend and colleague. We had many professional and personal adventures. I will always remember his laugh, his hugs and generous heart.

What a great, interesting guy, and excellent colleague to work with. His humor and dedication will be missed. Condolences to his family, especially his parents.

In 1975 Danny was the first guy that I ever saw jump off the roof of the boys gym into the diving pool at Los Gatos high school. It was that combination of daredevil and intellectual horsepower that made him such a unique guy This is what sucks about getting older is losing all these people you grew up with. There is another hole in the floor now that can never be filled. chip moore

Condolences from Becky, Carolyn, and Dr. Russell Smith from Lynbrook High.

Dan was a dynamic, engaging, and fun-loving teacher who my team had the pleasure of working with and learning from. His students and their success were always his focus. It was our honor and pleasure to know you, Dan Coonce.
