Not sure what to say?

Dan and Denise Delahunt, Sonoma CA.

I had the honor of talking to Dan on the phone the day before his passing. We worked together for years. He was one of the funniest, most optimistic, people I have ever known. He could always make me smile & laugh. He will be greatly missed. My sympathy to his family.

How beautifully you all embrace the lives of your remarkable family. I'm so honored to have known and advocated for justice with Kay at the Benedict Center and later meeting others of the wonderful Delahunt clan. My warmest thoughts reach out to all of you -- how lovingly you write of Daniel.

A truer friend no one ever had.

Hi, my uncle was Daniel's friend for 40 years and he just heard of his passing. We live in Milwaukee and were just wondering if he could attend his celebration of life. Could you email me back at [email protected]? It would mean the world to him since he is in ill health. Thank you very much.

My sympathies to Dan's family.Us girls adored him, when Dan walked in the door we knew we were going to have fun. I have not seen him in years but I will never forget him.

It gave me great sorrow to hear of the passing of Dan. He was a good friend I had in the 70"s and 80"s the old stone toad on Broadway, there wasn't anything he would not do for his friends! He will always be remembered My sympathies Cindy Simon

Gary & I knew Dan for many years in Milwaukee and were fortunate enough to be able to visit with him & Denise a few times over the years on trips to Napa Valley. We were happy to see how much they enjoyed their life together. We were there last July and are so glad we got to spend some quality time together. He lived life BIG and he'll be missed in a BIG way. Our hearts go out to Denise and the rest of his family.

I was rescued by Whale after a divorce in 1995. He was so kind and caring. I loved the nick names he gave everyone. The obit captured him so much. The twinkle in his eyes were always a nice sight to see. I'm glad he found happiness in CA. RIP my friend!
