Not sure what to say?

Dear Diane,
It has been many years since I've seen or spoken to you. I'm so sorry to hear about Danny. I have some very good memories of him. He was the most gentle man I've ever known. He took me to the prom in high school (before you and he met of course) and was always such a good friend. My heart goes out to you and the children. You all are in my prayers.

Diane, Though I hadn't seen you and Dan in quite a few years, I have so many fond memories from our youth group days. As someone else said, Dan was a "gentle giant" of a man with a wonderful sense of humor and love of life and his Lord. It always amused me that he could sneeze whenever he wanted just by looking at the sun! I pray our Lord will comfort and minister to you and your family according to your individual needs.

Diane, Becky & Philip,

I met Dan more than 16 years ago when we were working for the same AV company here in the desert and counted him then and now as a man of integrity and honesty, a supportive co-worker, colleague and friend. Dan was one of the kindest persons I know and was always considerate, even in stressful times and had a big smile and a joke to tell every time we met. He was one of the most respected 'good-guys' in our business whose word was his bond and was always shown...

Diane,
I was so sorry to hear about Dan. I hadn't seen him in a long time but kept up on his life through Paul and Wendy. I remember him as being a true man of God and we had some fun times in youth group. He taught us all what it was like to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I am praying for you and the kids. (I used to babysit Phillip and Becky when you and Dan had date nights...I still think of them as "kids.") May God give you strength through this time.

Dan #83 at Paul Miller's Bachelor Party

Diane and family, although it has been many years since I have seen you, Diane, I may have met your children once or twice. But it was just a few years ago that I saw Dan playing penny poker with "the boys". He looked the same as usual, just a bit older. Still had the same great humor and of course that big laugh that we all cherish.

But, what I remember most was his dedication to teaching us unruly kids in youth group. He was a great inspiration and I look back at those times...

Truly one of our industry's "Good Guys". Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Diane-Although I had only been with Dan a few times, the times I DID spend with you and him, it was truly a pleasure. You have been in my thoughts and prayers, and I know GOD will watch over you and the family. Be strong, and may GOD Bless you. I know he will be missed, but just remember this, "He is not gone, he is just away."
