Not sure what to say?

Dear Tana and family, I remember meeting Dan in freshman football and track and we became fast friends. He was probably the only person in Sentinel sports who didn´t give me grief for being in band and I never forgot him for his kindness in that regard. I am so sorry for y´all´s loss and I pray that you and yours receive Christ´s love and comfort during this most difficult time. With love and condolences, Aric Schneller

Tana and Family, I just learned of your loss of Dan. I am so very sorry. While I didn´t really know Dan in high school, since I was a few years older, I always remember his smile. While I haven´t seen you since high school, I have enjoyed seeing pictures over the last several years. The pictures I saw of the two of you together, it seemed his love for you was obvious. My deepest condolences and prayers are with you as you continue to navigate through the loss of Dan. Sending you love and...

Tana & Eric - So sorry to hear of Dan's passing. He was a good man and I am shocked and saddened. Please know that you are in all of our thoughts and prayers. God Bless!!

Danny, Jeff and myself spent most of my 7th & 8th grade years at Russell hanging out at Danny and Tinas house on Fassett Dr. I lived about 6 house away on 34th. What great times we had in and out of trouble, typical teens. The Grey house was a 2nd home for me and always felt welcomed by Pat & Stu. I'm sure we drove then nuts at times but it was some of my fondest memories. Wish we wouldn't have lost touch over the years. So many memories flooding back. Still can't believe it. You're all in...

I just heard of Dan's passing. I was privileged to get to know him as a co-worker at Hellgate Elementary and as my granddaughter's PE teacher. He was such a kind, compassionate person. My thoughts and prayers to all his family and friends

To Tina, and all who loved this amazing guy... I´m so very sorry you had to say goodbye so soon. I remember Dan for that big smile. Friends with Sister Tina, he was the younger brother in every sense of the word. I read of his adult life, and am not surprised by the tribute to the caring man he became. I will be upholding each of you in prayer, as you walk through this uncharted territory together. I believe Dan will be shining upon you all from a place of perfect peace. His last breath on...

I am very saddened to hear of the death of this incredible man and teacher. My son is autistic and when he was in kindergarten he met up with Mr. Grey in the hallways and he instantly bonded with him. The school said because of their friendship they would make sure he would be my son's 2nd grade teacher. He was in his 2004-2005 class. I was a single parent, and Mr. Grey was my son's first influential male role model. In 7th and 8th grade my son was dealing with a lot of stress and...

My son, Trevin, also loved Mr. Grey! Mr. Grey taught PE for Trevin, the year COVID hit. Trevin was bummed he couldn't see him but LOVED that Mr. Grey kept the kiddos involved with videos and photos of his animals. Such an amazing, kind human. He will be missed! Sending so much love to the Grey family, and to everyone who had the opportunity of meeting this beautiful soul!

My son, Dylan, absolutely loved Mr. Grey and talked about him all the time. I´m so sorry for your loss! He was an amazing person. Sending love to the Grey family.
