Not sure what to say?

We were shocked and saddened by this very sad news. We have very fond memories of Dan, he was a true gentleman, he always laughing or had a smile on his face. Our heart goes out to Robin and the entire Hansen Family. We will pray that you find strength to get through the days ahead.

So very, very sorry for your loss. I pray you find peace in your heart and all your memories to help carry you through.

My father-in-law, Dan, was seriously the nicest person I have ever met. I had the pleasure of knowing him for a mere 14 years and I can't say I ever saw him truly angry or heard him raise his voice in anger. He was so sweet with my son James and his other 3 grand kids. And I know he must've been a great father because he helped raise one of my greatest gifts in life, my husband Jonathan. I will miss him deeply and I will keep his memory alive so that James always remembers his Papa.

Mr. Hansen was a huge part of my youth and I have many great memories that include him. His daughter Ericka and I spent every spare moment together and I spent many day's and nights at the Hansen's home. Every year on our birthday Mr. Hansen would buy my twin sister and I a bag of M & M's symbolizing the nickname that he had for us, "The M & M Twins", for our names Melissa and Melanie. Each birthday the M & M bags were larger than the year before, and every year we couldn't believe they...

Dan you will be missed, always there with a kind word and a big smile.RIP buddy.

Thoughts & prayers from the DIY gang. We are sorry for your loss.

Dan, you will truly be missed. Our relationship goes back over 35 years. You and Robin were one of my sister's closest friends going thru high school and beyond. Sandy and I always enjoy looking at our wedding pictures, that you took as the photographer back in 1980. I know over the years people go on with their lives, but I know looking at our wedding pictures or talking about playing co-ed softball for a season back in the 90's, you'll always be in our memories. Our hearts go out to Robin...

So very sorry Robin on your loss of a great, great person to know. I worked with Dan at Comerica Park. It was always good to see him on game days. Dan never had nothing but nice things to say. He was a pleasure to work with. A pleasure to talk with. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers will be with the whole family. As for you Dan. I will forever remember some of the good conversations we had. Bless you my friend.

I could always count on Dan to come in with something he was pondering. Big or little questions of life. I will miss him.
