Not sure what to say?

Always looked forward to your VBS skits. I feel sad for all those future VBSers who will never get to experience your humor.

Mr. Holly was my 5th and 8th grade teacher. I remember he would never run out of patients. I never paid any attention, but he was always calm. He also had the perfect response to whatever inane thing I had to say. I'm deeply saddened to see that he has passed, but greatful for the time I got to spend with him.

My heart is so full of great memories of knowing Dan for over 48 years! I’m grateful for the long friendship we had. We were friends, Dan & Nancy, Paul & I, as couples, as church members together, raising our children together, and growing through life’s ups and downs together until now.

Dan was happy, fun loving, encouraging, kind, and giving to others in need.
He was a leader from an alongside position to support - encourage, all with a great smiling expression as if to...

In high school we all knew Dan was special. Not because he was our varsity quarterback, exceptional basketball player or homecoming king — he was simply a nice guy. I didn’t know him as an adult, but it’s no surprise to read what an exceptional person he was throughout his life. Dan and Nancy were inseparable in high school and it’s nice to know that they continued their life together. 1980 at Greenway must have been special because Linda and I have also made a great life together. Our...

Sorry to read about Dan. I went to school at Greenway and graduated with David. I am glad he is with Jesus. Blessings and prayers for you all. I do remember his friendly and kind demeanor. Praying for you Nancy.

Dan was such a nice guy and always will remember him,as he always stopped and spoke to me,even at his last reunion

I will always remember Dan for taking me into his home for holidays and celebrations as if I was one of his own. He always managed to make a room laugh and you couldn’t find a day he wasn’t smiling. He will be missed greatly, but the memories he leaves behind I will always cherish.

Our sincere condolences to you all...My boys loved playing golf with Dan..they always had so much fun...sending you so much love and a million hugs xoxoxoxo

I was so sad to hear this news. Dan was a wonderful friend. Our families grew up together in church. Dan and I both became teachers after we had our families, which was a kind of bond we had. I did not know Dan was ill, so this announcement broke my heart. I am praying peace and comfort for you, Nancy and your beautiful family. ❤
