Not sure what to say?

Oh Danny...I'm so sorry to hear that you have left us. And sorrier still that it has been so long since our paths crossed. You never failed to make me smile and feel valued as a friend in over forty years.

I will carry your humor, your music and your "evil" laugh with me always. And perhaps, in the end, we'll meet again..

And to Nancy and other surviving family, my deepest sympathies. Your brother was truly one of a kind. A kind and gentle spirit who will be remembered...

Oh Danny Boy...I'm sorry it's been so long since our paths have crossed. You never failed to make me smile and feel valued as a friend. Your sense of humor, your music and even your "evil" laugh will be carried with me always.

My sincere sympathies are with Nancy and the other family members who are mourning Danny. Your brother was a special man.

Love, Karen

One of the most colorful personalities that anyone could encounter. Danny's wit and humor always made life rich. His legacy lives among many. Thank you Danny for enriching my life and so many others. You set a standard to live life by playing all the music that God put in you.

oh no, he and I had some stories for sure, since I also was in these sane venues in the 80's and some 90's ...and happened to catch him once in Raleigh just passing thru at Sadlack's when I came back there in Dec 2011 after Mom passed ....R.I.P.

So sorry to hear of this. I also was a Duplin Rd resident! Jane "Alexander" Davison

I knew Danny a long time back when I was in high school. He was 6 years older than I...always a friend.

Danny was a great guy. We met in Jr High School and are proud to be his friend.

I grew up with Danny. I'm the neighbor across the street on Duplin Rd. I'm so sorry to hear about Danny's passing. He is the one that turn me on to Blues & Rock music as we were growing up.

He will be missed by all....

Take Care Old Friend.

My husband Richard Johnson (RJ) and I were friends with Danny back in the early 1970s. He was one of a kind. We had lost touch over the years and are sorry to learn of his passing. Sincere condolences to the family. -- Stef Mendell
