Read MoreMy husband Rod cherished Dan as one of his greatest friends. He spoke so highly of him and talked fondly of their time in the Navy together. We had a couple of wonderful visits with Dan and Renee and then as they both got too iold to travel they enjoyed many phone calls to each other. Rod preceded Dan in death by 5 months. I just heard the news regarding Dan, I´m devastated and shocked. Dan was an amazing person, always thoughtful and a strong voice of reason. He was a valued friend and advisor. My sincere condolences to Dan´s family. He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
