This news from dear Barbara is devastating. Danny and my late husband Ron Ferris, were great pals from Pine Lake Park. Dan was instrumental in planting a tree there in Ron's name in 1998. I loved watching them talk sports, wine, travel, and gourmet food. Both were such bon vivants! Dan brought a brilliant positive light to anyone in his presence. So many memories of Danny over the years, from visits to my childhood home in Encino California playing cards and watching Yankee games with Judy and George, to my visits to their home in Scarsdale and apartments in NY and Atlanta .
