I still remember Dan's presentation at Stonebridge CC about the renovation of the club at the first meeting I attended after moving into the community. He was just terrific. My condolences to Barbara and the family.

This news from dear Barbara is devastating. Danny and my late husband Ron Ferris, were great pals from Pine Lake Park. Dan was instrumental in planting a tree there in Ron's name in 1998. I loved watching them talk sports, wine, travel, and gourmet food. Both were such bon vivants! Dan brought a brilliant positive light to anyone in his presence. Watching him enjoy a glass of fine Italian wine in our San Francisco home was my last great visual of Dan forever charming and worldly. We spoke the same language about so many joys in life and I will be eternally grateful for his special friendship to Ron Ferris and for my ongoing friendship with Barbara. Dear sweet one-of-a-kind Danny, may you rest in peace and as Barbara said, he will no doubt start a new Charlie Horse League with his great pals, Davey Blum and Ronnie Ferris. My heartfelt condolences are extended to Barbara and Dan's entire family. With affection,

So many memories of Danny over the years, from visits to my childhood home in Encino California playing cards and watching Yankee games with Judy and George, to my visits to their home in Scarsdale and apartments in NY and Atlanta . Uncle-Cousin a more befitting title, Danny is also to middle name-sake of my oldest son Jacob Daniel. On the day of Jakes birth when we proudly presented the name choice, Dan responded without hesitation and in typical Danny-fashion, why didn't you name him Daniel-Daniel . THAT was PURE DANNY and will never forget that moment, and the humor he brought to our family.
