I Just discovered that Dan passed away. He was my very best friend all through elementary - high school in Barstow, CA. I am stunned that he has passed. I am saddened that I will never see him again.

I am shocked to see a face in the obituaries I recognize. I filled up my work van at Chevron occasionally when Daniel happened to be working. He had an unbeatable attitude and a beautiful outlook on life. On one occasion as we were chatting he shared his recent health issues with me (a stroke) and he raved about the woman in his life. Dan was my best friend and my Teddy Bear, my sweetie; he was Onery and Wonderful! He loved good movies...his favorite was Jeremiah Johnson. He loved a good Porterhouse, spicy Stirfry, French dip, clam chowder, club sandwich, home made tamales, and his sweets...chocolate chip cookies, Milky Way, fudge brownies, and strawberry Sundays. He could make the BEST home made enchiladas, quesadillas, biscuits & gravy, and smoked salmon!!
