Dan was my supervisor at Hunter Publishing in the mid 80's when I was hardly an adult, my first full time job. I was habitually late to work, but very good at my job. Dan would call me into his office, give me a stern talking to, then shake his head and grin. He was awesome, and obviously I never forgot him. Rest in peace, Dan.
