Not sure what to say?

I´m sorry that I´m just reading about Dan´s passing but send condolences to all. He was loved by the Durkin family ...... laughed easy, listened kindly...... and made everyone feel welcomed always. Special prayers to Barb and Annie. ...... He steered my parents dreams of renovating an old home home in Cheshire .... And stayed friends until they both passed on. God bless and may memories make you smile.

Dan designed and helped build my furniture store, Strand Wayside Furniture, on South Broad Street in Wallingford in 1979. Every experience in my life with Dan Lyon was always delightful, fun, and sweet. I am so sorry that he has passed and I will miss all the times we would connect over the past few years.

Thank you God for blessing us with Dan. Always gracious and easy to chat with, Dan was so likeable and sincere. Thank you Dan for making this world a better place.

Dan was a wonderful family friend and so nice to my mother Lydia in her later years. Wonderful man, he will be missed by many

Dear Jan -- I was deeply saddened to see that Dan had passed. He was a kind soul and I pray that you and your daughters will be consoled by your many wonderful memories of him. My fondest thoughts are with you always.

I have fond memories of Dan, some of which include amusing situations involving our shared first name. A good man, indeed.

To the kind man I deeply admired and respected, but spent too few hours with; you shall be missed. Thank you for the lively chats and education on architecture, construction, and philosophy - and for always taking tender care of my sister.

Dinny. Thanks for helping us with our old farmhouse renovation, and for being a good friend. Jim and Penny Bunting
