Not sure what to say?

Dan was simply one of a kind and one of the best. A lot of us knew him through public housing and enjoyed his Irish "whisper" and great laugh which could break glass.............a true gentlemen in every sense of the word..............99 years and I am not surprised. He often told the story about being denied life insurance years ago due to his health and then would go on to say that he called the agent every year he lived to say, "ha - I gotcha" (and he certainly did). My brother and I used to clear his driveway every winter when we were kids. What a kind and gentle man.

I met Mr. Lyons as an 11 year old playing Little League Baseball in 1957 and knew him ever since. He was everywhere in Wethersfield especially at sporting events at WHS and was always the same cheerful, gracious and engaging person. A wealth of knowledge about anything and what a memory. Finally got old enough to call him Dan. You can't replace guys like Dan---

Hello Tom and Judy,
Sorry about the passing of your father. He will be missed by all who loved him. God bless and keep you and you are in our daily prayers.

My condolences to all of Dans family. I have such great memories of the Manhattan College Communion breakfasts, Dan always was cracking us up, always smiling and a treasure trove of Jasper memories. What a great Jasper life he led.
