I just learned of Dam's passing, you have my deepest sympathy. Unfortunately I never got to meet Dan but you always spoke so fondly of him I know he was a wonderful man.

Dan was, as you all know, a unique individual. Most everybody that posts here will mention his generosity as will I now. I come to Pittsburgh periodically to attend a PITT basketball game. I would ask friends to meet at the Oyster House. I would have to fight Dan to allow me to pay the check. I think he won more often than me.
