Not sure what to say?

My name is Sr. Theresa and I knew Sr. Daniel when we were in Stamford, CT. She was an exemplary Sister-do kind hearted and compassionate!
She was the heart of St. Joseph's Hospital where she was highly respected. She balanced professionalism with true charity.
We kept in touch over the years when she retired. She had a great sense of humor and amused me with many interesting stories of her many ministries! Somehow we lost touch and I just found out she died. It was a blessing to...

Sr. Daniel was truly the heart and hands of Christ in her ministry at St. Joseph Hospital in Stamford where we met. Her compassion and kindness radiated God's love in every aspect of her being. It was a blessing to know her! We kept I touch after she retired and often spoke on the phone. Over the last few years we lost contact and just today I found out she entered into Eternal Life. May she rest in peace in God's Eternal Light and Love. She left a legacy of charity and kindness and will...

Dan and Family, So sorry to hear of your loss, I met her a few times when I worked at the hospital in 1966. Remarkable woman, May she rest in peace; prayers for her and your family. Phyllis & Brian Taylor

Sister Daniel McCabe was a wonderful and dedicated woman who gave so much to the people of Stamford and CT. She was a tireless force for service and Healthcare. She will be greatly missed.

Sister Daniel Marie was not only the leader but the heart of St Joseph Medical Center. Her appreciation and respect towards patients and each employee made the hospital what it was known throughout our community; a wonderful, caring and safe place to be. My deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Sister Daniel Marie. She will greatly missed by so many especially the "Family" of St Joseph Medical Center.

Sister Daniel Marie....everyone knew Sister for her leadership, her devotion to ethics and to every patient in that hospital. I worked for 6 years at St Joe's in the Operating Room when she was the CEO. The surgeons respected her, the staff respected her and the hospital was truly a family oriented organization under her strict but kind leadership. She was one of a kind her name will always be synonymous with the name St Josephs' Medical Center! Pat Agostino RN

It was with great sadness that I learned of Sister Daniel Marie's passing. As a volunteer and auxiliary president, I admired Sister Daniel Marie for her kindness, caring, compassion, her gracious manner, and her dedication to the hospital. Her leadership helped to create a warm and caring hospital and one where volunteers felt so very appreciated.
